News » TNA Files Lawsuit against WWE & Former Office Worker

TNA alleges that Wittenstein shared contractual information that he had gathered during his time with TNA (from 2008 to 2011) with WWE, where he worked briefly in 2012.

"This wrongful disclosure and misappropriation allows WWE to effectively price TNA out of the market and cause irreparable harm to TNA’s business and profitability,” the lawsuit reads. "WWE now knows the confidential details of TNA’s business affairs including its marketing and business strategy and analysis, which leaves TNA vulnerable to WWE’s unfair position in the market. An injunction issued on Tuesday demands that WWE and Wittenstein return any confidential information he gathered during his three-year TNA employment.

WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt responded to the lawsuit. "Our reaction is that no good deed ever goes unpunished," McDevitt told the Nashville City Paper. "What the WWE did here is what you would hope any company would do in these circumstances it found itself in."

mpact Wrestling kicks off with a video package revolving around AJ Styles/Kazarian/Daniels storyline. It then recaps Mr. Parks and Abyss along with Bully Ray. This rivalry is becoming a real good one. A different video type ends.

Another video plays with a setting taking place in Hulk Hogan’s room. He has Bully Ray, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, and Jeff Hardy in there. Hogan talks about tonight’s show. He talks about Open Fight Night and how it is going to be different than what he thought of. Hogan shows the stars a number of papers that show the whole line-up for tonight’s show. Hogan goes on to talk about Roode and how he is going to put his title on the line. Hogan says this is a big deal as Roode is going to be the longest reigning World Champion. Kurt doesn’t see that it’s a big deal but AJ does. They start to argue and Ray interferes to bring his input in. Hogan says this show is going to change. It’s going to be different than what it has always been. Kurt states that he should be fighting Roode because he won the most world titles than anyone else in there. Ray says, “Singles titles.” Ray says Hogan is the best of the best in the wrestling business, but he doesn’t understand why he has to convince Hogan for him to get a title show, unlike what Kurt did. Ray says he can take everyone over in this room. Ray says he can intimate Hogan if he wanted, but he respects Hogan. Hogan asks Kurt if he thinks Ray is intimidating. He doesn’t think so. Ray yells back and says Kurt knows that and he is lying. AJ convinces Hogan why he wants to fight Roode. He doesn’t want Roode to be the longest reigning champion in history. He wants to stop him. Kurt says he beat AJ last week, so he should fight him. Ray steps in and sees Jeff Hardy just sitting there. He calls out Jeff. Jeff says the fans should decide. Kurt turns that down as everyone will pick Jeff because he is the most popular. Jeff says Kurt’s son even likes him. Hogan says Roode needs to be stopped. He his a genius as he is taking over this company. He goes on to eliminate Bully Ray from this competition because Ray never won a World Title. Ray can’t believe it. He then says, “Eric was right about you.” Ray turns and walks out. Hogan feels good about the decision though.

News » Of Raw Going 3 Hours,Rey Mysterio , Jbl & More

- News on RAW going 3 Hours: As noted before, a lot of people within WWE don't expect RAW going three-hours to be a permanent thing, despite what the official announcements have said. There has been a lot of comparing it to when WCW Nitro went three hours years ago.
The format of the show is still a work in progress but the idea is to treat it like a pay-per-view event every Monday night with interactive features.

Almost all of the feedback coming from within the company has been negative regarding the change. There is a feeling that two hours drags by each week and adding a third hour won't benefit them.

It's said that the USA Network has been interested in a third hour for years but WWE has not been interested. USA currently pays WWE about $700,000 weekly for RAW. An increase of $100,000 would mean $5.2 million in new gross revenue for WWE.

- Rey's Contract Extended: WWE has extended Rey Mysterio's contract for the length of time from when he suffered his knee injury last August until his expected return. This will end up being roughly 10 or 11 months added to the end of his deal.

- More on Alex Shelly: F4WOnline also reports that Alex Shelly was looking to work in Japan and for Dragon Gate USA when he received a phone call from WWE. He has not yet signed with them.

- JBL on Owen Hart: Today  (23 May 2012) marks the 13-year anniversary of Owen Hart's tragic passing. Hart died on May 23, 1999 after an equipment malfunction during his entrance at the Over the Edge pay-per-view from the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri.

JBL wrote about that fateful day on his Facebook page today:

"13 years ago Owen Hart passed away tragically, I remember going in and telling Undertaker who was going over his match," he wrote. "Ron and I had dressed with Owen that day in KC and later we were questioned but never testified in the lawsuit. Vince was overwhelmed and gave us option of finishing show or not wrestling-we decided to wrestle. There wasn't a right decision. A wonderful man that is sorely missed. So many great memories about Owen, so many great ribs-he was the best. He and Davey were quite the duo:) RIP to a great friend.

"Owen dressed with Ron and I that day in KC, was a small dressing room so we were there during all the discussion about the stunt-but had nothing to offer that merited us testifying in the lawsuit. We wrestled shortly after Owen died, I don't think right after I think it was a couple of matches later-can't remember. Was tough because we knew he had died but no one knew what to do-to wrestle or not to wrestle, Vince was great and told everyone that they could do what they wanted-no pressure, he really didn't know what to do...no one did. Owen was a perfect family man and role model-one of the great ones."

No Way Out 2012 »Matches John Cena Vs Big Show

s the saying goes, desperate times call for desperate measures, and it’s hard to argue that Big Show was anything other than desperate when he jumped ship to People Power and allowed John Laurinaitis to save his own job a mere six days after Big Johnny callously terminated the giant on Raw SuperShow.

Big Show’s appearance at WWE Over the Limit was meant to herald the death bell for Laurinaitis’ much-maligned movement, but the giant planted his signature WMD against the face of John Cena instead, helping Mr. Excitement retain his job and keep People Power chugging along. And with The World’s Largest Athlete reinstated by a grateful Laurinaitis and Cena looking to settle the score, it’s only right that the two should face off one-on-one at No Way Out.

Cena and Big Show have, it should be noted, a more contentious history than the WWE Universe might remember. The giant famously chokeslammed Cena through a spotlight at Backlash 2009, and The World’s Largest Athlete clashed with The Cenation Leader over the United States Championship at WrestleMania XX (Cena won that contest, relieving the giant of the title). Big Show had worked prior to Over the Limit at keeping the WWE Universe in his good graces, but as the giant announced on Raw SuperShow the night after Over the Limit, he seems to feel his efforts have been unreciprocated.

Show claimed that Cena and the WWE Universe were not qualified to judge him, and his decision was made for love of the business and the security of his new, "ironclad" contract. He did what he had to do, despite the steepness of the price.

The price may yet get steeper, though. With Cena’s nemesis still running the show, and with a 7-foot wrecking ball at his disposal to boot, Cena is looking to make Show answer for his actions. After all, as the other saying goes, what goes around comes around, and The World’s Largest Athlete might well find it’s time to pay the piper when he meets Cena one-on-one.

Eve makes a triple threat match between the three for later in the show, in order to determine the #1 Contender.

The Big Show cuts a promo while sitting in a chair in the ring. He says that he felt betrayed by the fans and had no one to turn to, so he had to make a deal with Laurinaitis to get his job back. He says that he doesn’t care what the fans think, because he doesn’t care about them anymore.

Kane comes out for the main event, but Daniel Bryan assaults him with a chair. Referees have to separate Bryan from Kane.

A vignette for the return of Sin Cara airs.

Alberto Del Rio b. Randy Orton & Kane in a triple threat match to become the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Daniel Bryan went to ringside once again to distract the already-injured Kane, which gave Orton an opportunity to hit Kane with an RKO. Del Rio broke up the pin and pinned Kane himself for the victory. Sheamus came out after the match and laid Del Rio out with a Brogue Kick to end the show.

Was beaten and beaten by John Cena and concentrated extensively in the game where the profession of the Director-General based onparanoia and was on the line, smashed Mr. Laurinaitis with a steel chair, sprayed by a fire extinguisher and knocked with the bell ring as he fought to escape from the challenge before him. Discussed by the Executive Committee to be only a three-count found himself far fromthe line of high unemployment when something happens.
Shock WWE fans packed into the arena of Raleigh's PNC Arena, and show a great big stormed the ring and helped the man who shot him Monday night in the way the WWE Universe did not expect to see.

He was sporting the largest in the world did not change the result is clear from this match, and the landscape of the WWE look right a lotdifferent now.) No. polarization since I realized full power both raw and Smackdown, John Laurinaitis sparked intense debate when there-predictable and Brock Lesnar to episodes of WWE. Former MMAfighter went promoted as the new face of the company by theDirector-General, to end a nearly career John Cena at WWEExtreme Rules before leaving the WWE and then threaten to sue for millions.

Perhaps the most baffling managerial decisions since Mr. McMahonmasterminded the kidnapping of his daughter during the WWE"Attitude Era". The man, suit and tie, willingly stepping into the ringwith former WWE Champion 10 times? It was madness. Laurinaitisis probably the one time in Tarah hardnosed respected in the worldof professional wrestling Japanese, but that was more than a decade. The executive branch did you really think that he could provehe was against the man who just stood toe to toe with Brock Lesnarwon?

As it turns out, he did. Well, he did until WWE’s Board of Directors stepped in. Decreeing that not only would John Laurinaitis  be fired if he lost the match, but any contracted Superstar who interfered in the bout would also be terminated, the committee stacked the deck against the already in-over-his-head GM.

Clearly lacking confidence after the Board rejected his last minute plea to reverse at least one of the stipulations, Laurinaitis sulked to the ring like a man headed down the green mile. If the self-proclaimed Mr. Excitement wasn’t such a conniving egomaniac, the WWE fans may have felt sorry for him. Instead, they cheered John Cena  on as he picked apart Mr. Laurinaitis in a bout that resembled more of a televised mugging than a sports-entertainment showdown.

Out of nowhere, Show nails Cena with the WMD, helping Laurinaitis get the pin. JOHN CENA VS. JOHN LAURINAITIS | Sunday, May 20, 2012 | WWE Over the Limit 2012 | Full story & photo & result 20-05-2012
Senna took enjoyable in slow manhandling the executive who planned the attack on the ring to him and he empty the trash can over his head, the great Johnny, and pour it from fire extinguishers, securehim in the STF for 10 second bursts of brutality. Pay when it launchedLaurinaitis briefly re-emerged through the acquisition of steel chair, and the price when Senna drove a large piece of metal right in his face red.

Director-General of the night just got worse when the man who calledon Monday night - The Big Show - appeared suddenly among theWWE fans in PNC Arena, and dragging Laurinaitis down back to thesquared circle of his neck. He was flanked by the two sides by theleader Cenation and sports the largest in the world, do clearlyExecutive. And happened after that.

With Laurinaitis propped on the shoulders of Senna, only momentsaway from the feeling of AA, led the Big Show hammer his countryfrom the grip of a bull immediately in the jaw Cena. This was the last thing WWE Universe expect to see from the giant, who washumiliated by the GM, but there was no error occurred. Largest in the world sports KO'd leader Cenation baptized and saved a careerJohnLaurinaitis ". And since the introduction of Super Star was notcontracted, there was nothing WWE Board of Directors can be doneabout it.

The attackthat took place in a bold move by the Big Show, on purpose to save his own life? Or was it part of the plot is beautifullyconstructed, pieced together by Mr. Laurinaitis and his adviserssharply David Otunga and Eve? However, there will be hell to pay upwhen John Cena on Raw.
