Daniel Bryan comes out and says Sheamus took the coward's way out at Wrestlemania, and he made him feel like his title reign didn't happen. He says Sheamus has been taking shortcuts with Alberto Del Rio and referees, but he won't let that happen again this Sunday. Bryan says he will return to Chicago and shock the world, and he will beat Sheamus twice so it won't be a fluke victory like at Wrestlemania.
Bryan says he has a treat for the fans around the world, and he will outwrestle Sheamus so all of the question have been answered. He says he has the advantage and he will walk out of Extreme Rules as the champion, then he starts a YES! chant until AJ comes out.
Bryan tells her to turn around and go away, but she tells him no and he asks if she is out there to steal his spotlight and to get Sheamus to attack him. AJ says this is the only way she could get to him, and she asks to talk about their problems but he says he doesn't have anymore problems. He says he got rid of her because she was the problem, then she wishes him good luck but Bryan wishes she didn't come out there at all. Bryan says he wishes they never met or dated, then he wishes she was never even born and says he will answer another question while she starts to get upset. Bryan asks if there was a chance of him taking her back, then he says 'no' and throws the mic down before walking away, leaving AJ crying in the ring.
AJ vs Natalya
AJ continues to stare at the ramp and Natalya asks what is going on, but AJ turns around and slaps her in the face. She throws Natalya into the corner and repeatedly punches her in the face, then the ref pulls her away. AJ runs right back to the corner and continues to punch her, and the ref calls for the bell and AJ leaves while looking shocked at what she did.
Winner (by disqualification) - Natalya
Damien Sandow cuts another promo talking about advice given to us by Benjamin Franklin, and how will bring a new era of enlightenment. He says he will make us forget about casting text votes for dancing competitions, then thanks us for our time. We go to the ring for an introduction, and Brodus Clay tells them to cut his music because he wants to introduce his little brother. He says they will get to the dancing, but he brings out Hornswoggle in a tracksuit and they all dance to the ring.
Hunico (w/ Camacho) vs Brodus Clay (w/ Cameron, Naomi & Hornswoggle)
Hornswoggle gets in Hunico's face and shakes like Brodus, and Hunico shoves him down so Brodus splashes him and throws Camacho off the apron. Brodus hits a T-Bone suplex and the Funk It splash to take the match, then he calls for Hornswoggle to hit a top rope tadpole splash before dancing.

Teddy Long is shown walking backstage when Darren Young and Titus O'Neil come up to him and mock him for no longer being in charge. John Laurinaitis walks over and says he listens to the people, and Young and Titus say they are going to be the new blood on the show. John tells Teddy he should have recognized talent, but he can do that since he is in charge of talent relations and he wears many hats. He says he will allow Teddy to do that tonight, and he puts a British guard's hat on him and tells him the Queen's guards don't talk, and he hopes he does a good job.
Matt Striker joins Randy Orton in the locker room for an interview, and he asks for Orton's thought about Kane attacking him and his father before showing a clip of it. Striker asks how his father is, and Orton says he is tough so he will be fine in time, but he can't say the same for Kane. Orton says Kane became a monster at Wrestlemania, but they can fight wherever they want at Extreme Rules, and Kane will find out exactly how sick and twisted he can be.
The Usos vs Darren Young & Titus O'Neil
Jimmy Uso hits a heel kick off the ropes, then Jey punches Young in the corner and drops him with a clothesline before tagging back out. They connect with a double elbow smash for a two count, then Young makes a comeback and stomps Jey in the chest before tagging Titus into the match. Titus knocks him down and gets a near fall, then he stomps Jey and chops him before Young kicks him in the chest and hits a neckbreaker for two. Young applies a headlock but Jey hits an uppercut and tags out, then Jimmy hits a Samoan drop and follows it with a running knee smash. Titus breaks up a pin and throws Jey outside, then he holds up Jimmy while Young hits a middle rope clothesline, and Young rolls over and makes the cover.

Alberto Del Rio vs Big Show
Alberto tries to lock up but Show throws him to the mat, then picks him up and sends him into the corner where he punches him in the chest. Show steps on his chest then pulls him up and chops him, and follows up with a running elbow drop for a two count. He chokes him on the ropes before punching him in the stomach, then Show tries to punch him in the head but Alberto ducks and chopblocks his knee. Alberto jumps on Show and attacks his shoulder, then he wrenches back on his arm but Show pulls himself to the ropes. Alberto kicks him in the shoulder and goes right back to an armbar, but Show uses his free arm to shove Alberto back.
Show goes for a chokeslam but Alberto flats over, then he kicks him and jumps down on his arm before calling for a Cross Armbreaker. Show counters by lifting him on his shoulders and throwing him across the ring, then they both get up at the five count and Show blocks a kick to the head. He slaps Alberto in the chest and connects with a spear, then he calls for a chokeslam but Ricardo gets on the apron while Cody Rhodes runs out to ringside. Cody hits Beautiful Disaster and Alberto makes the cover, then Cody attacks Show after the bell but Show gets up and Cody runs through the crowd to get away.

Danny Lerman vs Ryback
Lerman kicks Ryback in the legs but he gets thrown backwards with a legsweep, then Ryback hits a fallaway slam and calls for him to get up. Ryback hits a running lariat and says it's time to finish him, then he picks him up and hits a Muscle Buster for the win.

Teddy Long is shown guarding John Laurinaitis' office when William Regal walks over and tries to get him to laugh, then he pats him on the shoulder and walks away. Aksana walks in with Antonio Cesaro and she asks why Teddy is wearing a funny costume, then she says Antonio is one of her old friends. She says he has dreams of becoming a WWE Superstar, then he asks why she said her boyfriend was an important part of WWE. Aksana says Teddy used to be in charge, but she wants to talk with John and brushes by Teddy, then they enter the office and John asks Teddy how he liked meeting her friend.
Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry & Cody Rhodes vs Sheamus, Randy Orton & The Great Khali
Cody runs over and takes out Khali's legs while he is making his entrance, and he celebrates in the ring while referees and trainers come out to check on Khali. Cody mocks them while they help Khali out of the arena, and the match ref says he doesn't know what he can do, but Big Show comes out to even the teams back up. The match is underway as we come back from a commercial, and Orton repeatedly punches Cody in the head and hiptosses him out of the corner. Cody takes a clothesline but ends up tagging out to Bryan, and he runs away when Orton tags Sheamus and he tags Cody right back in. Sheamus locks up with Cody in the corner and Cody tries to tag out, but Bryan stays on the floor and says his arm is bothering him.
Sheamus stomps Cody in the corner and counters a leapfrog with a rolling fireman's carry slam, then he applies an armbar but Cody throws him off the ropes and punches him in the face. Sheamus comes back with a double forearm shot, then Cody tries to hit a neckbreaker, but Sheamus throws him out to the apron and clubs him in the chest. Bryan tries to interfere but Sheamus runs him off, then Cody hits a dropkick and sends Sheamus out to the floor. Bryan hits a running dropkick on the floor then he tags in and stomps Sheamus on the mat, and Henry gets involved and steps on Sheamus' chest.
Henry chokes Sheamus on the ropes before bringing Cody back in, and he stomps Sheamus in the corner until the ref pulls him away. He goes back to Sheamus and puts him in a rear choke, but Sheamus stands up and backs him into the corner. Sheamus runs at him but Cody counters with a drop toe hold, then he puts Sheamus in a front facelock to try and keep him grounded. He gets up and throws Cody back, and Cody tries to hit a Beautiful Disaster but Sheamus counters with a diving shoulder tackle. Orton tags in and hits a hanging DDT, then he waits for a RKO but Bryan runs in to stop him. He drops Bryan with a spinning powerslam, but Orton gets up and turns around into a clothesline by Henry.
Henry stomps Orton and asks Bryan if he wants some, then Bryan tags in and hits a running corner dropkick for another near fall. Bryan bodyslams Orton and goes up top, but he misses a diving headbutt and Orton tags Show, and he clotheslines Henry and hits a corner splash. Cody kicks him from the apron, and Henry clotheslines him before tagging Cody back in, and he goes right back to work on Show's weakened shoulder.
Cody attacks his legs and shoulders, and he applies a figure four in the middle of the ring but reaches and tags Henry, and he gets in and splashes Show. Bryan tags in next and DDT's Show, but Show powers out of a pin that sends him to the floor, then Sheamus tags in an clotheslines Bryan. He beats on Bryan in the corner and hits a spinning powerslam for two, but Cody runs in and breaks up the pin attempt. He celebrates on the floor but Show turns him around and knocks him out, then Sheamus misses a Brogue Kick and he rolls over and makes a tag. Henry gets in but Sheamus hits him with a Brogue Kick, then he tags Orton while Henry falls on the ropes. Show spins him around with a Knockout Punch then Orton hits a RKO and makes a cover to win the match.
