''News » WWE Shareholders Meeting Notes & Highlights''

WWE held their annual shareholders meeting yesterday in Stamford, Connecticut. Here Is Some Notes & Highlights:

- Vince McMahon said he believed WWE’s stock price has dropped below $8, making new all-time lows because of unfavorable 2011 business results.
- There are still distribution deals for WWE NXT and WWE Superstars but have been strategically held back. Announcements are coming “very shortly” according to McMahon.
- McMahon said he doesn’t think the company should lower pay-per-view prices and believes more people are congregating to watch pay-per-views in a tough economy. He blamed the lack of PPV buys on the economy rather than a lack of interest.
- Triple H said the company’s developmental expansion plans are still in the works and stressed that developmental is the lifeblood of their company.
- McMahon said there hasn’t been any thought about a physical WWE Hall of Fame but it’s something they would consider in the future.
- One shareholder wanted to know if the company had considered putting Wrestlemania on free TV and charge advertising like the Super Bowl. Vince McMahon said if the NFL could put the Super Bowl on PPV they would make more money. He said he didn’t know of a network that would pay them the rights fees they could make in terms of pay-per-view profits.
- There were very vague answers to questions regarding the WWE Network with no timetable for launch available. Much of the same rhetoric that has been recapped for the past several months was used.
- Vince said the company was considering airing pay-per-views on the WWE Network but no decision has been made.
- Vince said WWE “Classics On Demand” will likely go away when the network launches.

Henry runs at him but Sheamus kicks him in the head and goes up top, and Henry ducks but he turns right around and Sheamus surprises him with a Brogue Kick for the win. Sheamus celebrates in the ring and Daniel Bryan comes out to the stage and sarcastically claps, but Sheamus invites him into the ring. He says Bryan is afraid of him because he doesn't have a referee's shirt on, or it might be because he will kick his head off in 18 seconds. Nikki Bella Vs Beth Phoenix - EXTREME RULES 2012 (Divas Championship) Match

http://us.wwe.com/f/wysiwyg/image/2012/04/20120424_article-FULL_nikki_beth_C.jpgAfter she captured the Divas Championship from a hobbled Beth Phoenix, Nikki Bella will get a chance to prove herself when she defends the butterfly championship against The Glamazon at Extreme Rules in Chicago.

The devious Diva shocked the WWE Universe when she capitalized on an injury to Phoenix on Raw SuperShow and pinned the dominant champion to capture the coveted prize. However, in a surprise move, WWE officials have cleared Phoenix to compete at Extreme Rules, and her bid for a rematch against Nikki for the Divas Title has been accepted.

Even with Phoenix rebounding from an injury, the contest will be a close one: Phoenix is one of the most physically dominating Divas in the history of the division, and her reign as Divas Champion was as dominant as the WWE Universe has ever seen. Nikki, on the other hand, is one half of the most cunning twosome in the Divas division, and the fact that she captured the title without the Bellas’ signature “Twin Magic” speaks volumes to her talents as a competitor. It will be a classic match of brains against brawn when The Glamazon and Nikki Bella clash for the Divas Title.

So Cal Val reveals a porta potty. Eric tells the men in the ring to attack them. They go after him but Garett and JB go around ringside and grab Eric. They hold him up and take him to the portable toilet. They put him in it and lock it up. The crowd is going crazy. Garett and JB count to three and then push it over. Seems like the smell is coming out from it. They open the door and Eric is covered in waste. It is all over him. Garett waves good-bye to him as Eric screams and yells. He is about to throw up…..actually, he does! Garett’s music hits as it marks an end to his dad’s career.

NXT » Result April 25,2012

http://www.guysnation.com/wp-content/uploads//2012/01/WWENXT.jpg Show started off with Matt Striker in the ring. He talked about how Hawkins and Reks were fired from the show last week. Striker said he'd be filling in for the injured Josh Matthews tonight, and that William Regal was away scouting new talent for NXT. He also added that Darren Young and Titus O'Neil got drafted to Smackdown. Hornswoggle came out to act as special match coordinator. He set up a tag match of Percy Watson and Tyson Kidd vs. Johnny Curtis and Michael McGillicutty.

Derrick Bateman arrived out and started complaining how he should be on Smackdown before Titus or Young since he beat them both before. JTG attacked Bateman, and Bateman eventually gained control, tossing JTG out of the ring. Horney booked them in the opening match.

Derrick Bateman defeated JTG by pinfall after hitting an inverted DDT on him.

Backstage, a referee handcuffed Maxine to Johnny Curtis, even though they both tried to flirt their way out of it. Hornswoggle showed up to book Tamina and Kaitlyn vs. Maxine and Natalya for a divas tag match.

They had Tyson Kidd backstage, when Percy Watson came in. Kidd joked that he was bad luck after what happened to his two previous tag partners. Kaitlyn showed up to ask the name for Kidd's submission move now, but he said he hadn't come up with one. Kidd said maybe Twitter followers can help him. Natalya showed up, angry that Kaitlyn was talking to Kidd. She said she'd take care of her in the ring tonight.

Tamina Snuka and Kaitlyn defeated Maxine and Natalya by pinfall. Tamina hit the Superfly Splash on Maxine to get the big win.

Post-match, Striker had Maxine join him on commentary.

Backstage, Tyson Kidd found that his tag partner Percy Watson was layed out. He said that McGillicutty attacked him. The main event became Kidd vs. Curtis instead of a tag match.

Tyson Kidd defeated Johnny Curtis by submission. The close saw Curtis use a wheelbarrow suplex for a near fall. Curtis then tried for a double leg drop from the corner, but Kidd rolled away. Kidd followed with the new submission hold to make Curtis tap.
