"News » Why The Undertaker Wasn't Used On RAW & More

We reported yesterday that The Undertaker was expected to appear at RAW. It is confirmed that he will be wrestling at WrestleMania 29 and his most likely opponent is CM Punk.

The plan was to see the beginning of that feud last night on RAW, but it changed after Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin informed WWE that they won't attend the show as they were appearing at the SHOT show convention in Las Vegas. Bret Hart was another legend asked to return last night but he denied as he felt he won't get a major role, Bret was very upset about the role WWE gave him for RAW 1000 and didn't want to have the same role last night.

WWE wanted to bring back all the legends at once, but after Michaels, Austin and Hart made it clear they won't appear at RAW, WWE decided to postpone The Undertaker's return.

We have learned from sources inside WWE that The Undertaker's return will likely be at the Royal Rumble Match, where he'll be a surprise entrant. However, WWE isn't planning on making Taker win the Rumble match. The plan currently is to make him feud with CM Punk starting after the Rumble, then continue to Elimination Chamber, to end up with a big match between the two at WrestleMania 29 as mentioned earlier.

More as we get it.
