News » More On Triple H Vs Brock Lesnar , WWE In China & More

- As noted earlier that WWE officials were "in a panic" over the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H storyline and were considering having the match take place at June's No Way Out pay-per-view. In an update, F4WOnline.com reports that the company is considering it for No Way Out or July's Money in the Bank pay-per-view. The match was originally planned for SummerSlam in August.

Moving the match up would extend the time between Lesnar appearances on WWE TV this year since it's believed they only have him for around 24 dates this year with the rest of the dates being used next year for WrestleMania season. The main reason for keeping Lesnar out until the SummerSlam match was because they had already burned through 5 dates between WrestleMania and Extreme Rules.

- WWE will be releasing new DVD's on Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston as part of the new Superstar Collection that launches later this year.

- On the way back from promoting WWE in Japan this past weekend, Alberto Del Rio stopped in China to take part in a press conference announcing the SmackDown brand's return to The Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai on August 11th. WWE will be running Tokyo, Japan on August 9th and 10th. Reports coming out of China suggest that WWE is considering doing regular tours of China.

News » Brock Lesnar May Take Legal Action HHH

- WWE's website has a new storyline article up looking at whether or not the Board of Directors may take action against Brock Lesnar for his attack on Triple H this past Monday. They speculate that Lesnar's release papers may be on their way but Lesnar's camp may take legal action because of contract demands previously made by John Laurinaitis.
They wrote:
"Adding one further wrinkle is the revised contract that Laurinaitis agreed to during the April 23 edition of Raw. Among the new terms approved by the GM was a clause that waived any future fines or disciplinary actions against Lesnar.

"Triple H has already dismissed those additional contract perks as null and void, but could Lesnar's camp pursue legal action in the event that the Board of Directors or Triple H comes down on Lesnar?"

WWE also speculates that the Board of Directors may take action against John Laurinaitis for his role in the HHH-Lesnar situation.

News » Triple H's Injury Upadate

According to WWE doctor Dr. Chris Amann, Triple H’s arm was placed in a hold that created a tremendous amount of torque on his upper arm and elbow. “He has a non-displaced fracture of distal humorous,” said Amann. “Fortunately, this is not something that needs surgery with pins and screws. We’ll be treating him with a sling for comfort and following with him in the next few days.”

Shawn Michaels reveals he will referee Triple H vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania 05/03/2012
WWE Raw SuperShow March 05, 2012

Before a sold-out TD Garden, Raw SuperShow kicked off with the hotly anticipated return of Shawn Michaels. HBK wasted no time in inviting longtime ally Triple H to the ring to explain his decision behind not only accepting The Undertaker’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania, but also demanding that the match take place inside Hell in a Cell.

After dismissing HBK’s suggestion that being unfavorably compared to Michaels is what led him to accept the match, Triple H acknowledged HBK’s WrestleMania XXVI loss to The Phenom – a loss that sent Michaels into retirement – and stated that it pains him to look at Michaels as a “loser.” The Game said that when he steps into Hell in a Cell with The Undertaker at WrestleMania, he’ll end both The Undertaker, and his Streak, in HBK’s honor.

Visibly taken aback by the comment, an offended Michaels told Triple H that, much like last year, he knows who’s going to win The Undertaker-Triple H match this year because he will serve as special guest referee.

News »Undertaker Had two Surgeries

»
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Undertaker underwent both shoulder and hip surgeries over the past year while away from WWE. He was estimated as being much lighter than he had been before when appearing on Raw two weeks ago (around the 275-280 pound range).
Discussion as to if this will be his last year remains up the air as WWE officials remain optimistic although how he holds up at Wrestlemania 28 will be a strong indication.

Undertaker Vs Triple H Hell In A Cell Match At WrestleMania28

April 1, 2012 Undertaker vs. Triple H (Hell in a Cell Match) | WWE WrestleMania XXVIII 28 | 01-04-2012:
The Undertaker vs. Triple H (Hell in a Cell Match) 04/01/2012
April 1, 2012
WWE WrestleMania XXVIII 28 | 04-01-2012
At WrestleMania XXVIII, two of the most decorated figures in WWE history, The Undertaker and Triple H, will engage in battle once more – this time, inside the diabolical Hell in a Cell. According to Triple H, when he and The Phenom exit the Cell on April 1, it will mark the end of an era.

After initially resisting The Deadman’s challenge to a WrestleMania rematch – dismissing it as bad for business – WWE COO Triple H has finally relented. If The Game succeeds in his years-long quest to end The Undertaker’s closely guarded WrestleMania Streak, he will have achieved the ultimate victory, to the perhaps-irreparable detriment of the esteemed Undertaker “brand.”

Hinging on this match are not only the professional legacies of two true icons, but also the future of WWE as a whole, Triple H claims.

Although there is always a temptation to write off terms such as “legacy” and “icon” as hyperbolic, in the case of The Phenom and The King of Kings, such deference is more than merited.

Their bodies of work speak for themselves. The Undertaker and Triple H have collectively logged 39 years in WWE rings. Combined, they account for a remarkable 20 WWE and World Heavyweight Championship reigns. There’s not a single major Superstar of the modern era – from WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to future Hall of Famers The Rock and Mick Foley – who hasn’t fallen to The Phenom and The Game at one point or another. With both battle-tested veterans in the twilight of their respective careers and a tinge of finality hanging in the air, The Undertaker and Triple H undoubtedly view WrestleMania XXVIII as an all-or-nothing equation. For The Phenom, it's about improving The Streak to an unparalleled 20-0, and keeping the one prize that has belonged only to him. As for The Game, he may never have another chance to snap The Streak and snare that one prize which has eluded him all these years.

Yet, when these two august legends collide inside The Deadman’s domain – a stipulation suggested by The Game – the paramount concern for both Superstars could well be survival.

The Hell in a Cell structure is a fitting venue, considering the histories of the participants involved. The Phenom and The Game have ventured inside the Cell more times than anyone else. Even though the heinous cage is most closely linked to The Undertaker – he fought HBK in the very first Hell in a Cell Match, in October 1997 – Triple H has actually proven more victorious, racking up a 6-2 record compared to The Undertaker’s 5-5-1 record.

The addition of the Cell will only intensify this war. Neither Superstar has been able to shake the physical and emotional aftereffects of their No Holds Barred Match at last year’s WrestleMania. Surviving both The Undertaker’s Tombstone and Last Ride, Triple H unleashed a Tombstone of his own – as well as three Pedigrees – before having to turn to his weapon of last resort, the sledgehammer. Yet as The Cerebral Assassin prepared to strike The Undertaker, The Phenom deftly maneuvered Triple H into his Hell’s Gate submission hold, ultimately forcing an exhausted Game – who knew he had reached his limit – to tap.

A year removed, The Undertaker remains vexed by that encounter’s final scene of medical personnel carting his battered body away from the ring. Since his return in January, The Deadman has been obsessed with destroying The Game and reasserting The Streak’s dominance. Triple H, who managed to walk away from the hellacious confrontation, is also unsatisfied, having come within a hair of achieving the unthinkable.

Adding another dimension to this contest is the giant disparity in how each competitor views The Streak. Nothing has served to deify The Phenom more than The Streak, and as such, The Undertaker is intent on preserving it for posterity. Although The Game is acutely aware of The Streak’s import, his responsibilities as WWE COO cause him to cast it in another, more capitalistic light. By seemingly discounting The Streak as a mere commodity – an opportunity for licensing deals and merchandising – is Triple H inviting even more wrath from an already driven Undertaker, who assuredly sees The Streak as sacrosanct?

At WrestleMania XXVIII, the rivalry between these two time-honored warriors will finally reach its culmination. Just how far is The Undertaker willing to go to defend The Streak and, in turn, his own legacy? Can the Cerebral Assassin actually best The Phenom on the day when he appears to be at his most unbeatable? Just as important, at what ruinous price will victory be attained this time around, when they battle inside the confines of a structure made famous by The Undertaker – the unforgiving Hell in a Cell?

o The Undertaker, his WrestleMania Streak is a pass to immortality. To Triple H, it’s a cash cow.

On Monday’s Raw SuperShow, much of what the WWE Universe thought it knew about the Triple H-Undertaker rivalry was turned on its head. The Phenom went from tempting Triple H with an opportunity at greatness to all but saying The Game must be victim No. 20 if The Streak’s to have any importance. Meanwhile, the WWE COO’s reverence for The Undertaker as a peer has been re-framed, and it now appears to be dwarfed by his appreciation of The Deadman as a brand.
The Deadman makes his presence known once again, delivering his latest message for Triple H and the WWE Universe. Watch what he has to say in this exclusive video.
